Amazon Drones Approved By Federal Aviation Administration In USA

The USA Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has accepted the application of Amazon drones product delivery system. Using this service Amazon customers can receive their ordered product via Amazon prime air drones within a hour.

The online shopping giant Amazon named this delivery system "Amazon Prime Air". This amazing drone delivery service revealed by its CEO Jeff Bezos in late 2013. On 2014, Amazon applied for using drones product delivery system in U.S. And finally FAA authority allowed and gave “Experimental Airworthiness Certificate” to use this service as “Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)” under some strict conditions.

They said, Amazon drones are not allowed to fly up to 400 feet and it must be fly only in daylight time. Moreover Drone’s operator must be a qualified pilot and have visual line-of-sight skill. Operator also must be a medical certified.


Amazon said, After USA, they have plan to reveal prime air service in some more countries.
