Amazon Joins In Satellite Internet Competition. The Details

In recent years, a competition has been brewing between Jeff Bezos's Amazon and Elon Mask's SpaceX, in the satellite internet space. The beneficiaries of this space race are not only the companies but also technology enthusiasts. Elon Musk's SpaceX is launching Starlink satellites to expand internet services worldwide, competing head-to-head with Jeff Bezos.

Amazon Kuiper: Jeff Bezos joins satellite internet

Amazon has launched two satellites into space to challenge Starlink. Last Friday, they launched two satellites as part of their "Project Kuiper" series. The prototypes of these two satellites are named "KuiperSat-1" and "KuiperSat-2" They were launched from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, USA.


These two satellites have been placed in space as part of the plan to provide internet connectivity anywhere on Earth. In the coming years, Bezos plans to deploy over 3,200 satellites in low Earth orbit.

"KuiperSat-1" and "KuiperSat-2" will undergo testing and examination of the necessary technology for satellite internet service.

Jeff Bezos aims to capture a rapidly growing market for high-bandwidth, low-latency internet connections. However, Elon Musk's SpaceX currently leads the sector, with SpaceX already deploying over 4,800 satellites in orbit.
